Sorry to my swap pal who’s been waiting for this! Here we are:

What kind of kit are you interested in receiving?
- Pretty much anything, a sock, mitt, hat, shawl etc kit would be wonderful!
Are you interested in any particular techniques?
- I’d like to do more fair isle, I’ve been meaning to but haven’t got round to it. Or maybe stranded knitting or a slip stitch pattern – I’ve not done those before.

- Pretty much both. My passion lies with knitting but I can crochet enough to make amigurumi too.
What is your favourite colour?

- Purple. Without a doubt!!

- Bright orange and greens are pretty awful in my opinion!
What’s your style? (elegant, traditional, glamourous, girly, natural, sporty, outgoing, etc.)

- Eclectic!! I do my own style, and it takes a bit from everything. I wear glamorous, elegant earrings, with an average black t-shirt, and flared cord jeans, and skater trainers. Or I might wear a big floaty skirt with boots, or normal jeans or combat pants. So I’m a bit of everything – apart from Girly. I really, really don’t do girly!!
Do you have a favourite type of fiber or brand of yarn?

- No, but I am a complete yarn snob. I am currently in a love affair with Sirdar Peru, and have this idea that I’d like to collect a load of it in all colours and make a blanket (a little bird told me they’re dicontinuing it next year, which is very sad). I also basically love the yarn I have stashed!

- Well, being a yarn snob I inevitably don’t like man made fibres!

- Yes, obviously I dye yarn for my shop, but I also do photography, and dabble in a little card making occasionally.
Are there any knitting accessories you are interested in receiving?

- I love my sock needles (DPNs(2.5mm)), so a new pair of purple pins from knit n caboodle would be cool, as mine are all mashed up at the ends from lots of use. Erm, one of those wooden swatch measure thing, or a wee sock blocker would be funky. Anything quirky is cool

- I love strong yorkshire tea, hot chocolate (with marshmallows!!), and ice cream (sorry, that’s not helpful is it?), but I’m not really into actual chocolate much (I mean, like a box of chocs or a bar).

- I’m allergic to penicillin!! Though I don’t really expect that through the post! Apart from that, I don’t like smelly things like soap and stuff (I do like non-smelly soapy stuff).

Ha, I’m allergic to penecillin too! Thank you for a most helpful questionnaire. I’m now off and firing on all cylinders. Lots to think about here. I wonder if they do that in purple?
